Poems

AFRIKAN KWEEN
I yam wan of dhem. A goddess.
Deserving to be worshipped
by the sensual lips
of a god.
From my kinky black hair
through every inch of my ebony skin,
Over browned eyes seen too much
pain and suffering,
a mouth cried for so long
ever weeping
never kissing,
down my throat
to the holy communion
at the alter of my plump breasts;
suckled dry by generation
after generation,
southwards now - gently -
to the very temple
at the very core
of the whole
universe.
I yam wan of dem. An Afrikan Kween.
Deserving to be worshipped.
By the sensual lips
Of a King
