Annette Majanja
Annette Lutivini Majanja is a Nairobi based writer. Her writing has been featured on the Storymoja writers blog ( storymojaafrica.wordpress.com), Kwani? 06 and the McSweeneys' Quarterly Concern Issue 37.
Renee Akitelek Mboya
Renee Akitelek Mboya is a Nairobi based writer who started off her writing career as alegal draftsman person she is also a classica clarinettist her music greatly informs her work.
John Steinbeck
John Steinbeck (1902-1968), winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature, achieved popular success in 1935 when he published 'Tortilla Flat'. He went on to write more than twenty-five novels, including 'The Grapes of Wrath' and 'Of Mice and Men'. Kwani Trust is partnering with the National Steinbeck Center in featuring readings from Steinbeck's work as part of the 2011 Steinbeck Festival.
