10 years after being our featured poet, Radio Host, Hip Hop artist & Poet David Oyuke aka BlackSkillz, returns to Kwani? 

A founding poet at Slam Africa (2006), BlackSkillz's blends his poetry & music together with Jazz & Neo Soul influences. 

His music debuted in 2003 on Mwafreeka's the Joint on YFm, was on rotation on Capital Fm's bubbling under for has collaborations with Stan (2007/2008) and has since then been plying his trade as a radio host currently on Hot 96. 

He has also assisted in teaching Hip Hop classes at Daystar University with the impeccable Curtis Reid & Dr. Wandia Njoya, with Dr. Wandia regarding him one of her favorite poets. 

With a book out in February, a mix tape on the way and a return to the Kwani? stage after a decade, this -by all means- is a homecoming long in the making
