Teardrops

He is a onetime SLAM AFRICA champion, and was the first sheng poet to be hosted by POWO (poets and writers online)

‘Teardrops’ is a 23 year old, self managed spoken word artist who is passionate about social issues and change. He started as a professional poet three years back and has been part of over a hundred performances across the country, at Institutions and at events like Slam Africa, Sitawa Ignited, Story moja hay festival, POWO amongst others. Some of his pieces have also been performed at in Europe and the U.S

One of his ambitions is to tour the world performing his poetry. His greatest moments will be when a ten years old child looks up to him as a role model. Besides art, Teardrops is an entrepreneur and electrical engineer. He uses his leadership skills, to mentor upcoming spoken word poets
