13th Nairobi International Book Fair
The Nairobi International Book Fair is an annual fixture on the Nairobi literary/cultural calendar, Kwani, a regular participant. This year’s fair, the 13th edition, was held at the Sarit Centre in Nairobi from 22nd – 26th September 2010.
The fair was a beehive of visitors, buyers and potential authors. Stephen Partington was a busy man at the Kwani? stall, signing copies of his poetry collection, How to Euthanise a Cactus.
Surprise
The finale of the fair came as a pleasant surprise when the Kenya Publishers Association, the organizers of the event, announced Kwani Trust as winner of the Best Corporate Image award!
