Photography is one of the most fascinating and important media used by international artists. Some of the best known African artists work with photography. In Kenya, photography as a medium has been important, but rather as press, fashion and advertisement photography and studio photography. Photography as a medium has been rarely used by Kenyan artists. This exhibition brings together Kenyan photographers and artists who navigate between art and documentary photography. Among them are: Barbara Minishi, Antony Kaminju, James Muriuki, Miriam Syowia Kyambi, Jim Chuchu, Sam Hopkins, Boniface Mwangi, Jakob Barua, Wambui Mwangi. The show is displayed in an unconventional and powerful way of photography exhibition: as projected images.
