Mufasa, whose real names are Ken Kibet, is a singer, actor and spoken word artist. He enjoys writing, watching movies, listening to rock, neo soul and old skul hip hop. mufasa is a powerful performer and that is evident in his unheld emotions when he performs. To him, spoken word is a means to express and share thoughts, opinions, hidden emotions and in all enjoy the moment. In 5 years; he hopes to be a big name in the acting industry, push spoken word to get national recognition as a powerful and important art, and be among the best original musicians in the country. He is currently finishing up his degree (Bachelor of Business and Information Technology) at Kenya Methodist University and is a member of the phoenix players actors.

Tear Drops

He is a onetime SLAM AFRICA champion, and was the first sheng poet to be hosted by POWO (poets and writers online)

‘Teardrops’ is a 23 year old, self managed spoken word artist who is passionate about social issues and change. He started as a professional poet three years back and has been part of over a hundred performances across the country, at Institutions and at events like Slam Africa, Sitawa Ignited, Story moja hay festival, POWO amongst others. Some of his pieces have also been performed at in Europe and the U.S

One of his ambitions is to tour the world performing his poetry. His greatest moments will be when a ten year-old child looks up to him as a role model. Besides art, Teardrops is an entrepreneur and electrical engineer. He uses his leadership skills, to mentor upcoming spoken word poets
