Festival Details
The Nairobi Kinanda Arts Festival is a monthly arts extravaganza of music, poetry, visual art, creative writing, spoken word, film and street art offerings. All this happens over a single weekend, the last Sunday afternoon of every month. This January 2012 edition will feature two film makers show casing their short films for the first time - Dawa by Mark Kaigwa and the 3D animated film Wageuzi by Andrew Kagia. The rising soul music artist, Sage, takes to the stage for the first time, and the programme also includes additional music and poetry.
